Kids' Korner - Extended Day Child Care Program

Giving parents peace of mind
Working part-time or full-time and/or attending college while raising a family is a stressful and daunting task. Equally difficult is finding a child care solution that is convenient, affordable and age-appropriate for your children. Covina-Valley Unified School District's Extended Day Child Care Program Kids' Korner offers a unique child care solution for students in grades K-5. Flexible scheduling provides before and after school care, as well as full-time or part-time support. The fee structure is competitive, and is designed to accommodate families with two or more siblings in the program.
Contract Fees
- Each year, families are asked to sign a contract outlining the
agreed upon fee for service, as well as guidelines and
rules regarding admission in the program. Fees are based
upon enrollment not attendance.
Each family pays a non-refundable registration fee
annually. The fee is $55 for the first child and $30
for each additional sibling.
Payment is on the first day of the month. Late fees apply for late payment.
Returned checks are subject to additional fees. Students may be withdrawn
from the program if payment is not received by the 15th of the month.
Payments are monthly. Discounts are provided for families
with two or more siblings enrolled full time in the program.
No additional fees are charged for extended hours required during minimum days
or District staff development days.
