Heléne Bartosik holds an M.S. degree in Energy Medicine, having studied with Norm Shealy, MD and Caroline Myss, PhD through Greenwich University, Hawaii. She is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner with a specialty in Jin Shin as a practitioner/ instructor. Heléne is certified with Jin Shin Jyutsu, High Touch and Jin Shin Acutouch schools. Her love of the art was inspired as she sought answers for her own healing crisis 15 years ago. Heléne has conducted a pilot study in a clinical setting on The Effects Healing Touch (Jin Shin) on Fibromyalgia, and is the producer and director of the Jin Shin Self Help video As a mind-body educator she draws on her background in psychology, aromatherapy, nutrition, yoga and world travel. Heléne has lectured and taught workshops throughout the Southern California area. She is currently associated with several medical teams and has a private practice in Newport Beach, CA.

While experiencing her own healing crisis and searching for balanced health, she examined a myriad of healing alternatives from simple vegetarian diet to the intricacies of Oriental and Western Medicine. Heléne has practiced meditation and yoga for more than 30 years and continues extensive studies in Chi Kung and Tai Chi. She has traveled to expand her knowledge of the customs and nature of the healing arts in South America, Egypt, Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and Western Europe. In addition to her private practice using Jin Shin, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology, Heléne is an Associate Practitioner in tandem with the medical team at the Center for Optimum Health, Fountain Valley, CA. She is also a member of the American Oriental Bodywork Therapy Association (AOBTA) and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
