The following sites will direct you to vendors for some of the equipment being evaluated in the
Mobile Computing Project. In some cases there are multiple vendors available for these products.

*** As items become available on Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA), they can be ordered through
the specific vendor that holds that BPA. When a device is listed on a BPA, Technical Approval is
not required.
* The COTR is the person that purchases computer equipment for your unit.
Currently the Juniper Systems AllegroCE, Itronix Q100, Otterbox Cases, and HP iPAQ
are on a BPA with PlanetGov. The AllegroCE is also available on the IBM BPA.
PlanetGov can now accept online orders from the USFS.
To access the Apptis Inc. Forest Service portal go to the
Apptis Inc web site.
Click on the "Forest Service Pricing" link and you will see a list of items
available. After you make your selection you can place your order by calling
Traci Fortune at (703) 279-3043 at Apptis Inc.
The IBM Forest Service Portal requires a username and password. The Unit's COTR that is responsible
for ordering items from IBM should have the ability to order from this site.
After signing on to the IBM site, click on the "PC options and peripherals" link.
Then click on the "Printers and peripherals catalog" link. The page that opens will
have a link to the AllegroCE.
